Season of Understanding
Diagnosis: This is when you begin to see why different or negative occurrences happened in your life and how they have come together to put you where God has placed you. The interworking and connecting can cause a more positive reflection on life experiences and potential excitement for the future.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Personal: This is literally when everything begins to make more sense. You begin to reflect and feel liberated and proud of the decisions that you had to make and the hardships that you had to endure in order to get to where you are. This is where an overwhelming sense of accomplishment begins to come in! You begin to see God’s plan for you begin to unfold in different parts of your life! This is what it means to finally be on the other side of things, so soak it in!
During this season, I began to see how God had changed and realigned my path for something greater such as my study abroad in Bluefields, Nicaragua and me choosing a path towards teaching (for a brief period of two years) and even the blessing of totaling my car! (Yes, blessing!) This can also be seen in the less tangible things in my life such as friendships that I needed to let go and really starting up that small business I was putting off (hello, Kurly Khronicles). The new path was refreshing and left me feeling as if I had a completely clear and new slate.
Keep in mind that all of these seasons in your life can come and go quickly or slowly. The main thing is to ensure that you continue to be strong, take care of you and PRAY! Use the resources that God has given you to navigate through these things such as mental health counselors, close family members and friends, and do things that keep you grounded. Leave your comments below and share your feelings of these seasons! I cannot wait to read!
